The PROMOTIC application communicates with an autonomous robot, which moves between up to 100 defined measurement points in the production plant and measures 6 groups of dust particles ranging from 0.3 µm to 10 µm. The measurement results, together with telemetry data, are transmitted via OPC UA to the PROMOTIC SCADA application.
Within the application, the user sees an interactive interface displaying a floor plan, where a robotic measuring device moves in real time and measurement points are shown. Both the robot and the measurement points are colour-coded to indicate modes and statuses, and the user is kept informed of what is happening via information boxes. All data is stored in a database and displayed, as selected, in table or graph format. A customisable chart is available for comparing data, where the user defines the data, time period and auxiliary limit lines, thereby displaying only the requested information, which can be exported to an .xlsx file. The set limits are integrated into the existing system for routing and sending SMS messages to alert users to conditions exceeding the limits.
