Object PmaCommGroup (Communication data)
See: PmaCommGroup - Deatiled object description
The object serves to define the data group, that will be read/written via the corresponding communication.
No other Pma
objects can be created in this object.
The PmaCommGroup object can be created only in the PmaComm object (if the selected protocol supports the usage of the PmaCommGroup object). There can be multiple PmaCommGroup objects in the PmaComm object.
This object adds variables into the calculation of the application size, which influences the basic runtime license type/size (see: Price list of the PROMOTIC system ).
This object adopts properties and methods of object PmaObject
|onDataReceive|| Is triggered after receipt of data from the communication|
|Object|| General information about the object|
|Content|| Content of the object in the XML form|
|Events|| Definition of object events algorithms|
|Parameters|| Definition of parameters of the communication group data|
|Data|| Communication group data definition|
|PmVar||(Variable) Object represents one data item of the object|
|ExtComm|| An extension for connection to the PmaCommGroup object|
: Object name changed: PmCommData
: Fixed bug
: Calling the method Refresh
caused interruption of periodical communication of this object.
: ""onDataReceive" event" configurator
can be set to "A = call for all registered variables (in this object and also in other PmaData objects)
". This way it is possible to check any change of any variable in the onDataReceive
: Significantly siplyfies the usage of embedded communication drivers. In this object, the variables are defined with an identifier, that is used by the system in order to obtain the desired value correctly. The system then executes optimalized and automated communication transmissions and the designer does not have to manage it manually.
