Communication with INMAT heat meter (Czechia)

According to the communication method the INMAT meters can be divided into following groups:

INMAT57

The INMAT57 meter allows to use the RS-485 or RS-232 interface with Modbus protocol or with M-BUS interface.
For this communication in the PROMOTIC system can be used:
- PmModbusMr - Driver for communication by the Modbus Master protocol or
- PmMBus - Driver for communication by the M-BUS protocol

INMAT66 and INMAT51

The communication of the PROMOTIC system with meters INMAT66/51 is implemented by the PROMOTIC component: PmInmat66 - Driver for communication with INMAT66/51 heat meters.

INMAT64 and INMAT65

It goes about obsolete types of heat meters that are not addressable, it means that they don't support the network protocol (it goes about the point-to-point communication type).
For this communication in the PROMOTIC system can be used:
- PmChar - Driver for communication by user defined ASCII/BIN protocol


INMAT64/65 device is the Master on the communication line. It periodically transmits a message (data) to the communication line with the period about 5 sec.
