Preconfiguration "PmSNMP - Papouch temperature and humidity sensor TH2E (Communication by the SNMP protocol) - Communication set with data and panel"

Communication driver configuration PmSNMP - Driver for communication by the SNMP protocol.

See also Communication with meters by the Papouch company (Czechia).

The valid TCP-IP address must be set for the device according to the corresponding network environment. The configuration is described in the documentation supplied by the manufacturer.

This preconfiguration can be activated when creating a new object (e.g. by "New object ..." in the local object menu or after pressing the Insert key after selecting the object) and is included in the group: "/ Communication / SNMP".
This preconfiguration can be created in the object: PmaFolder or PmaRoot.

- The preconfiguration creates an object of the PmaFolder type containing PmaComm object with PmaCommGroup subobject and following objects: PmaPanel, PmaData, PmaTrendGroup.
- The preconfiguration is created including the panel (object of the PmaPanel type) is functional also a Web panel.
- The panel is used for communication testing and it is not essential for the communication functionality.

In the PmaComm object named "Comm" the communication parameters are set (Network address, ...).
The PmaCommGroup object named "data" includes a "Parameters" tab where Special Parameters are defined (see PmSNMP - Driver for communication by the SNMP protocol). On the "Data" tab, the items are imported by data extension of items defined in the PmaData object (see ExtComm). Each Data corresponds to the selected device type by its structure and name.

The PmaTrendGroup object named "Trend" contains the setting in the "Storage type" configurator, that defines saving the trend values into Database dBase backups. The variables for the PmaTrendGroup object are defined in the PmaData object using the ExtTrend.

The PmaPanel object contains trend viewer PmgTrendViewer and PmgWTable. There are also PmgButton objects for setting and controlling the viewer, and PmgString object with description texts and PmgNumber objects with values displaying the current measurement status.
These configurators can be set before the preconfiguration is created:
The name of created objectName of the object created in the tree of Pma objects. The maximum name length is 30 characters. This is a system name, so it must contain only alphanumeric and must not contain any diacritics, empty string, spaces and the first character must not be a number.
Default: "CommTH2E"
PermissionsOn this tab permissions of the object are defined. See the "Permission" tab of the PmaObject object.
Network addressNetwork address to which the communication will be connected.
The address can be entered by both IPv4 address (e.g. or by computer name (e.g. server11).
The IPv4 address is the local address of this computer.
Macro expression can be used for input (it is evaluated after starting the application).
After the preconfiguration is created, the "PmaComm > Setting the parameters of the Ethernet-client > Network address" configurator will be set to this value.
Close the connection after each transmissionThis option sets the following configurators simultaneously:
Not connect until first transfer. See: PmaComm > Setting the parameters of the Ethernet-client > Not connect until first transfer
Close connection after every transfer. See: PmaComm > Setting the parameters of the Ethernet-client > Close connection after every transfer
Communication refresh rate [ms]The period in milliseconds to be used for reading the current data by the PROMOTIC application.
After the preconfiguration is created, the "PmaCommGroup > Parameters > Communication refresh rate [ms]" configurator will be set to this value.
Autosave period [s]The period in seconds. Each time this period passes the Run method is called internally, then the onAddRecord event is triggered and then saves all current values on the "Data" tab.
After the preconfiguration is created, the "PmaTrendGroup > Trend > Autosave period [s]" configurator will be set to this value.
