Communication with Mitsubishi devices

In the PROMOTIC system there are available two communication drivers for the serial communication with Mitsubishi devices:

For both drivers, there is a common licence PmMelsec. With the freeware version PmFree, or when developing the application (with development environment for tersting purposes), this component is always functional.

The OPC server and the PmOPCClient PROMOTIC component can also be used for the communication. Then the PROMOTIC application will communicate as a client by the OPC interface, i.e. by the PmOpcClient object, the PROMOTIC will be connected to the OPC server and thus communicate with the devices.
