Communication with Moeller devices

It is possible to communicate with the Moeller devices as follows:

- by the SUCOMA protocol: serial line, point-to-point connection, the protocol is supported on the programming port at all Moeller devices.

- by the SUCONET protocol: serial line, Master x Slave connection, in the Moeller devices the network card with the SUCONET support is necessary.

- in the Ethernet network (TCP/IP): over the CoBox HW converter.

- over the phone modem: by the SUCOMA protocol

For the communication of the PROMOTIC system with the Moeller devices the following communication drivers can be used:

1. OPC server

For the communication with the Moeller devices the communication OPC server can be used that is protected by the HW key.

The OPC server can communicate with the Moeller devices over:

- the serial link (by the SUCOMA protocol).

- the phone modem.

- TCP/IP protocol (by means of the CoBox HW converter).

The communication in the Ethernet network can be implemented by means of the CoBox HW converter - to convert the SUCOMA serial protocol to the TCP/IP protocol. For more information - see the technical support.
