Setting the program parameters - configuration window

Description:
The window serves for setting the parameters of the program that is launched and monitored by the PmRtManager program
 
This configuration window can be opened on the "Tools and settings" tab > PmRtManager.
Configurators:
Program identifier (index)Specifies the identifier and also the index of the program in the range Program1 - Program5. If some identifiers are already used, then the configurator offers only free identifiers from the specified range. The
index of the program then can be entered as the value of the nProgram parameter when calling of the WDogRefresh method and when setting the value of of the "Restart of another program" configurator.
Identifier of the program also serves as the name of the in the PmRtManager.ini file section, in which the parameter settings of the monitored program are stored.
Program1 - The program identifier is: Program1, The program index is: 1.
Program2 - The program identifier is: Program2, The program index is: 2.
Program3 - The program identifier is: Program3, The program index is: 3.
Program4 - The program identifier is: Program4, The program index is: 4.
Program5 - The program identifier is: Program5, The program index is: 5.
Program typeThe window serves for setting the type of launched program.
PROMOTIC runtime (default) - The PmRtManager program launches the selected PROMOTIC application in the PROMOTIC runtime environment.
Other program - The PmRtManager program launches other selected program of the Windows OS.
PROMOTIC applicationThe window serves for selection the PROMOTIC application to be launched in the PROMOTIC runtime environment.
 
The configurator sets the value of the key Parameter in the PmRtManager.ini file - see PmRtManager as WatchDog.
PROMOTIC versionThe window serves for selection the standard or named PROMOTIC version in which the application will run.
 
The configurator sets the value of the key Name in the PmRtManager.ini file - see PmRtManager as WatchDog.
ModeThe window serves for selection the mode in which the application will run.
64 bit (default) - The PROMOTIC application will be launched in 64-bit mode.
32 bit - The PROMOTIC application will be launched in 32-bit mode.
Path to the EXE file of the programThe path to the EXE file of the Windows OS program to be launched.
 
The configurator sets the value of the key Name in the PmRtManager.ini file - see PmRtManager as WatchDog.
Program launch parameterProgram launch parameter, e.g. the path to the file to be opened in the program.
 
The configurator sets the value of the key Parameter in the PmRtManager.ini file - see PmRtManager as WatchDog.
Launch typeSpecifies whether the PmRtManager program should launch and monitor the selected program or only launch it.
Launch and monitor the program (default) - The PmRtManager program launches the selected PROMOTIC application and then monitors it, to check if it has been stopped.
This option is available only if the PROMOTIC runtime environment is launched.
Only launch the program - The PmRtManager program only launches the selected program, but does not monitor its continuous operation.
Launch delayDelay between starting the PmRtManager.exe and starting the program.
The value is in multiples of "Period" (counter decrement period).
 
The configurator sets the value of the key StartDelay in the PmRtManager.ini file - see PmRtManager as WatchDog.
Initial counter valueInitial value that is written to the counter when the program is launched.
The counter is decremented by 1 with the "Period" time interval (counter decrement period).
 
The configurator sets the value of the key IniCounter in the PmRtManager.ini file - see PmRtManager as WatchDog.
Stop delayThe delay between stopping and restarting the program (or restarting of the Windows OS).
The value is in multiples of "Period" (counter decrement period).
 
The configurator sets the value of the key StopDelay in the PmRtManager.ini file - see PmRtManager as WatchDog.
Number of program restartsThe number of attempts, how many times PmRtManager tries to restart the monitored program, before it restarts Windows.
If the value is set to -1, then the number of attempts is not limited.
 
The configurator sets the value of the key RestartProgram in the PmRtManager.ini file - see PmRtManager as WatchDog.
Windows restartIf the program does not set the counter even once after launch and the counter reaches 0, then:
- if checked, then Windows is restarted immediately
- if is not checked, then the PmRtManager will try to stop and restart the program
 
The configurator sets the value of the key RestartWindows in the PmRtManager.ini file - see PmRtManager as WatchDog.
Restart of another programIf the PmRtManager stops the monitored program, then it also stops the program with the number specified in this configurator.
