The link-up of the object to the Web server
Configuration items:
Enable as Web componentSpecifies whether this object has to be registered as a Web server component
PmWeb objectPath in the objects tree to the PmWeb, PmWebFolder or PmWebLang object where the registration is carried out.

View in HTML components listIf checked, then the component will be visible in the component list. Displaying such list is done through the Web object registering this component (Web object PmWeb, PmWebFolder or PmWebLang).

If not checked, then the component will not be visible in the list. But it will be accessible through its Web adress. It is useful for system components (e.g. the data offered to another applications), that are not intended to be choosen from Web browsers.

When displaying the component list in the Web browser this option can be supressed by pressing the Shift key and clicking the list title simultaneously. At this moment the list is reopened displaying all the components (including system components).

Refresh period of HTML pages [s]Specifies how often the page "statview.htm" (the viewer of current alarm states) is reading the XML data and refreshing them accordingly. This configurator is not ment for events. The default value is 4 sec.
By this page it is possible to register the object as a component into the Web server (i.e. into the PmWeb, PmWebFolder or PmWebLang object).

The client that wants browse pages of this component, has to have the permission WebRead. If the client wants to acknowledge alarms, then he must have even the permission Acknowledge. The client requiring data from this Web component is type of "PmWebClient" from the license point of view.

If there are more alarm/event groups in the application, then it is recommended to register the PmAlarmEvent object to the PmWebFolder object with the set configurator Type to "Folder for alarms" or "Folder for events". In this case this PmWebFolder object offers the outline Web pages with all registered PmAlarmEvent objects and then alarms/events from various groups can be browsed very easily.

If the object is registered, then it offers the Web pages in the intranet on the following URL address:


ComputerName - network computer name on which this PROMOTIC application runs.
Port - port set in the PmWeb object (if the port equals to 80, then it needn't be entered)
ComponentId - if the component is directly registered with the PmWeb object, then the text is stated here in the configurator "Web component identifier" on this page. If the component is registered with the PmWebFolder or PmWebLang object, then the identifier of this object is here even before, for example, "IdFolder/IdComponent", etc.
Page - page name that is offered by the object. If the page isn't entered, then the default page will be displayed.
To be more specific, the page for viewing current alarm states has the name statview.htm. In this page the alarms can be also acknowledged - if the permission Acknowledge is set. The shape of this page is taken from the file in the folder /Pm/Web/AlEvStatView.htm.

The page for viewing the history of alarms/events has the name histview.htm. The shape of this page is taken from the tile in the folder /Pm/Web/AlEvHistView.htm.
