Data binding T - Binding to calculation based on a table of values
The data binding T always provides the value entered in the table for the specific value of the control variable.
Data binding configurators:
|Control variable||In this field a control variable has to be defined that is usually linked to the next data binding.|
|Control variable values||In this field limits of the individual intervals must be defined in which the control variable resides (they can be constants or they can be further linked to the next data binding). By filling the individual table rows the intervals are created that are closed from below and opened from above (interval <x,y)). If the value resides in the interval, then it is the result of the data binding of the next configurator.|
|Add||Adding additional table row.|
|Insert||Adding additional table row (above the selected row).|
|Delete||Deleting selected table row.|
|Delete all||Deleting all table rows (except the Default row).|
This data binding is also functional for Web panels
. The evaluation of the data binding does not need to communicate with the Web server (with PROMOTIC application) - the evaluation is done on the client side (i.e. on the Web browser).
For some simple tables it is better to use the E - Binding to the general expression
data binding. See Example5
Let's have a table with three values 10, 20 and 30. Then:
The row Default is valid for values of the control variable less than 10.
The row with the value 10 is valid for all values of the control variable equal or greater than 10 and less than 20.
The row with the value 20 is valid for all values of the control variable equal or greater than 20 and less than 30.
The row with the value 30 is valid for all values of the control variable equal or greater than 30.
