| Opening mode | Allows to define how the selected application backup will be opened in the PROMOTIC development environment.
Open the backup for read-only viewing - Opens the application backup in the PROMOTIC development environment in read-only mode. In this mode the application backup can be viewed but cannot be modified.
The "Application.pra" file of the existing application remains unchanged. Create new application from the backup - Creates a new application from the backup with the specified name in the selected folder.
If a folder other than the original application folder was selected, then it copies all application files and subfolders of the existing application. Finally it opens this new application in the PROMOTIC development environment. The "Application.pra" file of the existing application remains unchanged. Replace the existing application with this backup - First, it creates a backup of the existing application.
It then deletes the "Application.pra" file of the existing application and replaces it with the selected backup. Finally, it opens the application in the PROMOTIC development environment. |
